He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Henderson and Katherine McRae Henderson; and his children, Robbie Henderson and Kimberlee Flores. He is survived by: his wife Marleen Henderson; his children, Dawn Heatherly of Greensboro, Donnie Henderson Jr. of Thomasville and Steve Heatherly (Rose) of Tallahassee, FL; his sister Lorraine Little of Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, D. J., Robbie Jr., Zach, Michael, Justin, Angela and Christie.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
