He was predeceased by: his parents, Posie Tickle and Alma Newman Tickle; and his siblings, Barbara White (late Wade), Billy Tickle and Joyce Williams (Stan).
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Tickle and Tamela Tickle; his great grandchild Avett Ray Henderson; and his sisters, Glenda Coe (late William) and Carol Smitherman (Michael). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and friends.
