She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Passmore Bowden and Tinnie Coble Bowden; her husband Virgil Curtis; her son Brockie Curtis (Barbara); her siblings, Ruby Bowden, Helen Bowden (Mebane), Junius, Paul, Royzell, James Everette Bowden, Ralph Bowden and George Bowden; and her daughters, Regina Huntley of Greensboro, NC., Robbie Curtis of Greensboro, NC. and Carolyn Curtis of Greensboro, NC..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Huntley, Derrick Curtis (Shelia), Cortney Huntley (John), Kimberly Morris (David), Anita Crosby (Dwayne), Sheldon Curtis, Dominique Curtis and Nicole Curtis; and her siblings, Lillian Flowers, Mildred Mason and Thomas Bowden (Lizzie). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
