She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Russell, Sr. and Myrtle Lola Russell; her husband Joseph T. Watts, Jr.; and her daughter Sandra Leigh Turner. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Yurko (Gary) of Florida; her grandchildren, Donna Piercey of Oak Ridge, Eric Turner of Oak Ridge, Lyndsay Champion (Carl) of Greensboro and Kristin Bigford (Justin) of Colorado; and her great grandchildren, CJ and Olivia Champion of Greensboro.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
