He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Davis Lash. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Matthews Lash; his daughter Deborah "Debbie" Allen of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Stuart Allen (Melanie), Banks Allen (Crystal) and Rob Allen (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Walker Allen, Harrison Allen, John Davis Allen, Graham Allen, Olivia Allen, Reid Allen and Trad Allen.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Guilford Memorial Park (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
