He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Cliff (Marcia), Brian (Judy) and Lisa; his granddaughters, Katherine Vaneerden and Caroline Thomas; his stepgrandchildren, Jeff Hevey, Sean Minto, Chris Minto and Ryan Minto; and his siblings, Boyd (Linda) and Carolyn Santanella.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Guilford College United Methodist Church (1205 Fleming Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Make-a-wish Foundation in Dwight Thomas's name.
