He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Welker; his parents, Willie Myrtle Welker and Leo Welker; and his siblings, Jerry Welker and Sylvia Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly W Wilson (Adam Wilson) and Brian Welker (Melissa Nealey); his grandchildren, Gavan Wilson and Victoria Welker; and his sister Rosemary Warr.
