He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Marks and Rheba Marks; his son Daniel Marks; and his brothers, Arnold, William and Ben Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Annemarie; his children, John Marks (Lori), Marianne Marks Langer and Kelly Marks (Nancy); his grandchildren, Devorah, Ilana, Matthew, Stephen, Cameron, Grayson and Kendall; his great grandchildren, Ziva and Thaddeus; and his extended family, Wolfgang, Stefan, Mikayla and Daniel Dotterweich. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Emanuel of Greensboro.
