She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bryson Fields and Lily White Fields; her husband W. B. "Jack" Walker; and her siblings, Norman Fields, Joyce Hackney and Evelyn Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, D. Brooks Walker (Rosie) and Karla Frank; her grandchildren, Devon Walker (Daphne), Bryson Walker, David Frank and Lindsay Frank; and her great grandchild Wyatt Walker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
