He was predeceased by : his wife Patsy Beanblossom Reich; and his mother Alice Hinkle Thomason. He is survived by : his mother-in-law Ruth H. Beanblossom; and his brother Randy Thomason (Susan) of Lexington. He is also survived by cousins and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
