She was predeceased by: her parent Callie Odella Hunter Bitting; her nephew Mikki Allen Hill; and her cousin Clayton Bernard Keck. She is survived by: her siblings, Jacqueline, Patricia, Alice (Peggy), Barbara (Veronica) of Smyrna, GA, William of Winston-Salem, NC, Nathaniel (Cheryl) of Raleigh, NC and Milton (Aleta) of Winston-Salem, NC.. She is also survived by five nieces, six nephews, four great-nieces and ten great-nephews.
