He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Lucas; his children, Debra Cotton (Kelvin Cotton), Lisa L. Cross and Michael D. Cross; his grandchildren, Tiesha Wallace, Rick Wallace, Andrew Wallace, Elijah Wallace and Joshua Wallace; his great grandchildren, Kaider Nelson, Jaier Nelson, Laila Walker, Noah Wallace, Nina Wallace and Harlem Wallace; and his siblings, Mildred Reevey, Helen Bryson (Elnando), James E. Cross (Renee) and Zan Macon (Ruth Lucas).
