He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles Brown Sr. and Annie Cole Brown; his wife Shirley Ann Boyles Brown; and his siblings, Robert Charles Brown Jr., Calvin C. Brown, Lewis E. Brown and Mary Ann Brown Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Brown Kirk (Bert) of Virginia Beach, VA and Robert L. Brown (Bonnie) of Denver, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
