It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Cripps of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Cripps to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Hoyte Cripps and Naomi Sue Cripps (Underwood). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cripps (Mueller); his son Kevin T. Cripps (Kimberly Dawn Cripps); his grandchildren, Makenna Shea, Mylena Nicole and Avalynn Grace; his son Matthew Caleb Cripps (Trischa K. Cripps); and his grandchildren, Zephaniah, Avner and Solomon. He is also survived by brother.

Instead of flowers, those who choose to do so may make memorial contributions in honor of Fred W. Cripps to Clapps Nursing Center, 5229 Appomattox Road, Pleasant Garden, North Carolina 27313, or to the Alzheimer's Association.

He also shared the events that made up his life and achievements. I don’t believe there was anything that he couldn’t do.
