He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Brown and Mary Elizabeth Walker Brown; his wife Emily Brown; and his siblings, Irene Bishop, Harold Brown and Jimmy Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Hardy, Marie Brown and Kathy Snider; his grandchildren, Robin Evans (Eddie), Ray Hardy, Rachael Holman (Nick), Phillip Brown (Autumn), Buddy Hardy and Mariah Asbill (Carson); and his sister Ollie Herndon. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
