With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garry Steven McComb of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. McComb and Florence J. McComb; and his siblings, Norman Balfour, Walter McComb Jr., Clifford McComb, Roger McComb, Peggy Manigault and Margaret Chestnutt.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Allen of Philadelphia and Jane Goins of Randleman; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Balfour of Randleman, Penny McComb of Thomasville and Floyd Goins of Bennett; and his goddaughter Melissa G. Blanton of Mullins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter United Methodist Church in Randleman, North Carolina.
