He was predeceased by: his parents, George Daniel Robison, Jr. and Nelle Cavitt McSwain Robison; and his brothers, Horace McSwain Robison, Barton Fancher Robison and James Richard Robison.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Robison Kantlehner (Robert), Katherine Robison Davey, Anne-Barton Carter (Robert) and G. Daniel Robison, IV; his grandchildren, Laura Katherine Davey Klein (Sean), Elizabeth Martin Davey, Marshall Robison Davey, Robert Charles Kantlehner, Jr. (Jennifer), Paul Cavitt Kantlehner (Alexa Chickene), Bryson McSwain Carter (EmaLeigh O'Neal), Stirling Holt Carter, Molly-McGill Carter Kibby (Regan), Mary Margaret Robison and Davis Holt Robison; and his great grandchild James Francis Klein.
