It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Ray Johnson of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Alexander Johnson and Hessie Loftis Barber; and his brothers, Van Alan Johnson and George Thomas Barber, Jr.. He is survived by: his close friend Ama Cadle; his daughters, Marlene Allen (Craig) and Rachel Martin (Jim); his grandsons, Daniel Martin (Emma) and Joshua Martin; his great grandchild Peter Martin; his sister Betty Horton; and his grandson Josh.
