She is survived by: her son Stephen Gary Bates; her grandchildren, Shelly Lynn Bates, Adam David Bates and Ashley Bates Amaral; and her great grandchildren, Logan Tyler Amaral and London Ryley Amaral.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Triad Cremation Funeral Service Chapel (2110 Servomation Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
