It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irwin Smallwood (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irwin Smallwood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wortham Irwin Smallwood and Ada Bryant Smallwood of Greensboro's Congregational Christian Church; his former wife Allene Moffitt Parks Smallwood; and his sister Barbara Jean Smallwood Nellis. He is survived by: his wife Judy C. Glasgow; his daughter Bryn Smallwood-Garcia (John Smallwood-Garcia) of Brookfield, Conn.; his stepchildren, Kelly Williams of Winston-Salem and Kevin Williams (Jennifer Williams) of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Jacob Smallwood-Garcia of Brookfield, Conn. and Lela Smallwood-Garcia of Los Gatos, Calif.. He is also survived by 3 nieces and a nephew, their children, and countless friends.
