It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Kpeglo (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Kobla Kpeglo; and her siblings-in-law, Walter T. Johnson, Jr. and Stephanie Kpeglo. She is survived by: her sister Yvonne Johnson; her daughters, Enyonam Kpeglo Williams (Daniel) and Senadzi Kafui Kpeglo-Halley (Evan); her brother-in-law Beryl Esi Agbley (Kofi); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Janice Jeffries, Walter T. Johnson, III (Samara), Vernon Johnson (Tina), Lisa Johnson-Tonkins (Elbert), Shannon Johnson-Lackey (Tarji), Mawuli Aba Kpeglo, Senadzi Adjoa Kpeglo, Vernon "Kenji" Johnson, II, Jalen Tonkins (Amaria), Teara Johnson, Devin Tonkins, Sequoyah Johnson, Sanai Johnson, MayaGrace Johnson and Malik Tonkins. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
