James A. Goins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Goins of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean E. Goins, Sr. and Dovie Yount Goins; his wife Jane Self Goins; and his siblings, Dean E. Goins, Jr., John M. Goins and Mary Ruth Goins Valentine.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Goins Kilbride (Steve) of Archdale and Philip J. Goins of High Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
