He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth Jones. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Greene; his daughter Jennifer Wooten (Mike) of Stokesdale; his granddaughters, Nora "Niko" and Bella Wooten; and his sister Mary Lou Woody (Marvin) of Spruce Pine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
