We bid farewell to James Long of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 85. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey James and Selma Roberts Long; his wife Ann Tippett Long; his brother Kenneth Long; and his son-in-law Doug Hasty.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Kim Hasty, Tracy Stevens (Josh), Robin Moore (Rick) and Lonnie Hubbard (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer (Alec), Jared (Anna), Morgan, Rebekah, Kaitlyn and Cameron; his great grandchild Nora; and his sister Brenda Long.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to Lake Brandt Baptist Church.
