She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Wilkins Atkinson and Gonslee Atkinson; her brother Wayne Atkinson; her brothers-in-law, George Glenn and Steve Breece; and her nephew Steve Glenn.
She is survived by: her husband James Brown (Jimmy); her son David Brown (Kayla Oakley) of Greensboro, NC; her grandson Grayson Ramos; her sisters, Janice Glenn of Rockingham, NC, Cheryl Jenkins (Danny) of Waynesboro, VA and Pamela Breece (Mike Brown); her brother-in-law Alan Brown (Carol); and her pet Maggie.
