Jeanne Williams Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanne Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Gary Sr. and Florence Wilson Gary; her grandparents, Isiah, Louise Seymour Wilson, Oscar Morris and Beulah Gary; her grandson Samuel D. Early III; her brothers, Oscar Jr., Charles Sr., Manuel, Michael, Joseph and Harold Sr.; her aunts and uncles, Amelia, Mercedes Gary, Lucy Jackson, Leola, Nancy, Charlene, Johnnie Mae Wilson, Isiah, Johnny, Joseph and Robert Wilson; and her siblings' children, Roshanda Lynn Noil, Rawanna Onawa, Sharol Ann, Kawanna Tacara Taylor and Keith Gary.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kisela Early (Samuel), Rickshell Gary, Penny and Jamie Williams; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kionne, Trivon Gary, Marquis, Jaidyn Roby, Mariah Trice, Malik Herron, Henry, Tye'Ray Sarah, Makai Gary and Autumn Williams; her great grandchildren, Jaliyah Price, Joseph Gary Jr., Kehlani Whitley and Kingston Richard; her sisters, Mercedes Noil and Beulah Gary; and her sister-in-law Schwane Taylor Gary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Greater Providence Baptist Church (623 Newton St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the McDonough Cemetery (520 Hancock St, Gretna, LA 70053).
