It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerri Cain Ramsey (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Chad Ramsey; her parents, James E. Cain, Sr. and Edith G. Cain; and her siblings-in-law, Berta Sue Culbertson and James Culbertson.

She is survived by: her husband John O. Ramsey, Jr.; her son Derrick Shawn Ramsey (Casey) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Chase, Haley Ramsey of Greensboro and Kaitlyn Ramsey; her siblings, Debbie C. Glud (Pete) of Greensboro and James E. Cain, Jr. (Mary) of Greensboro; her niece Stacey Tillman (Stewart Black); her nephew Steve Barts; her great-niece Jessica Tillman; her great-nephews, Ryan Tillman and Haden Barts; Brandy Ramsey of Durham. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
