It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerri Cain Ramsey (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Chad Ramsey; her parents, James E. Cain, Sr. and Edith G. Cain; and her siblings-in-law, Berta Sue Culbertson and James Culbertson.
She is survived by: her husband John O. Ramsey, Jr.; her son Derrick Shawn Ramsey (Casey) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Chase, Haley Ramsey of Greensboro and Kaitlyn Ramsey; her siblings, Debbie C. Glud (Pete) of Greensboro and James E. Cain, Jr. (Mary) of Greensboro; her siblings' children, Stacey Tillman (Stewart Black) and Steve Barts; her great-niece Jessica Tillman; her great-nephews, Ryan Tillman and Haden Barts; Brandy Ramsey of Durham. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Guilford College United Methodist Church (1205 Fleming Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
