It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Ervin (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jerry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jerry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amell Jackson Ervin and Albert Ervin Sr.; his siblings, Albert Ervin Jr. and Sally Williams (Tony); and his great-niece Alashia Ervin-Bethea.
He is survived by: his daughter Lashundria Green; his siblings, Terry Ervin and Zena Mae Ervin; his granddaughter Leilani Green of Winston-Salem; and his sister Lois Alford (Charles). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
