She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Black and Bess Black; her husband Phillip Don Smith; and her siblings, Dorothy Ryel, Dixie Turner, Ruth Andrews, Hal Swaney and Jonathan Swaney.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Don Smith (Tanya) of Randleman and Jennifer Messer (Joe) of Greensboro; her stepdaughter Lisa Potter (Ralph) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Kirstin, Dalen, Makinley, Hannah and Colby; and her great grandchild Rhett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
