JoAnn Wilson Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Wilson Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Wilson and Hugh Wilson; her husband William Siegfried Smith Jr.; and her daughter Sieglinda Lee Smith. She is survived by: her children, William Siegfried Smith III (Ellen Smith) and Elizabeth Smith Ryan (Rocky Ryan); her grandchildren, Will Smith (Amber Smith), Jake Smith, Jack Ryan (Mackenzie Ryan), Lee Ryan and Connor Ryan; her great grandchild Ivy Smith; her sister Maxine Cary; and her sibling's children, Melinda Carr, John Britt, Allen Smith and David Allen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Florence Phillips Hall (4100 Well Spring Dr, Greensboro, NC 27410).
