We are sad to announce that, on May 13, 2024, at the age of 83, Joanne Wright McLendon (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Henderson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stevenson and Gertrude Stevenson; and the father of her children Thomas Monroe Wright. She is survived by: her husband Parker McLendon; her children, Linda Fitzgerald (Brian) of Thomasville, NC and John Wright (Donna) of Louisburg, NC; her brothers, Ralph Stevenson (DeeAnn) of High Point, NC and James Stevenson (Judy) of Oak Ridge, NC; and her grandchildren, Jonah Wright and Karissa Wright. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davidson County Hospice.
