He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alala and Waheda Alala; his wife Carol Miller Alala; and his siblings, Joseph Basil Alala, Eddie Alala, Margaret Alala and Mary Alala Dixon.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Alala (Jeanne) and Matt Alala (Cindy); his grandchildren, Maitland and Meredith Alala; and his siblings, George Alala (Marsha) and Madeline Alala Lineberry (Tommy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
