He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Vaughn and Kenneth Vaughn; and his sister Tracy Whaley. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his sons, Nikolas (Vanessa) and Rece (Francesca); his pets, Finn and Toby; his siblings, Kim Vaughn, Matthew Vaughn (Tisha) and Amy Morrow (Johnny); and his siblings' children, Leigh Whaley (Courtney) and Geoffrey Whaley (Tim).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dinner Bell Farm (7565 Snow Camp Rd, Snow Camp, NC 27349).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Research Foundation (ACPMP.ORG.).
