He is survived by: his significant other Stephanie Jean Nance; his children, John Benton Moore, Jr. (Melissa) and Bettye Claire Dangerfield (Spenser); his stepdaughter Hailey Post (Keisei Sugahara); his grandchildren, Addy Dangerfield, Quinn Dangerfield and John David Moore; his mother Barbara Stacy Moore; his sisters, Mary Moore (Bill Gowan) and Carolyn Moore (David Moon); and his nephew Max Gowan.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to a place that is special to them: Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, the beloved alma mater for both Stephanie and Claire.
