He is survived by: his wife Ann Poole Byrd; his children, Amy Byrd of Summerfield and John Byrd of New York, NY; his siblings, JoAnn Blue (Bill) of Mt. Gilead and Alton Byrd (Dee) of Belvidere, TN; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex and Nick.
