He was predeceased by: his parents, Butler Roberson and Alice Mae Roberson; and his son Russell Wade Roberson. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Roberson (Abbott); his son Anthony Mark Roberson; and his sisters, Pearlie Anderson (Johnny) and Charlotte Moss. He is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Johnny's family has requested donations be made directly to Crusade Baptist Church in support of their Missionary work.
