He was predeceased by : his fathers, Joseph E. McDowell and Money; and his sisters, Becky McDowell Smith and Brenda Leigh McDowell. He is survived by : his wife Cindy Stack McDowell; his children, Richard McDowell (Mary Kate) of Reidsville and Casey Ramsey (Derrick) of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Joshua McDowell, Lauren McDowell, Chase Ramsey, Haley Ramsey and Landon McDowell.
