He was predeceased by: his significant other Helen Kay Hightower; and his brothers, Jay and Jerome. He is survived by: his children, Joseph William Parry-Hill (Danielle) of Raleigh and Jennifer Kay Kunka (Benjamin) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Sofia, Thomas and Clyde; and his siblings, Jessie, Janet, Jane, Jean and James.
