She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Alley and Ruth Ella Alley (King); her husband Bobby Straughn; and her siblings, Herbert, Roland, William "Chester" Alley and Mary Lou Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Dean (Marlina), Steven Len (Leslie), Samuel Andrew (Kathryn) and Anita Yvonne Straughn; and her grandchildren, Mindy, Maria and Robert. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
