She was predeceased by: her husband William Troy Smith; and her parents, Isaac Woodrow Parks and Laura Sharpe Parks. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Smith (Jennifer) and Steven Smith (Katherine Lanier); her grandchildren, Daniel Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Elizabeth Smith and Katie Raynor (Luke); and her brothers, Larry Parks (Billie) and Jerry Parks (Selena). She is also survived by children, and devotion to her family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Wesleyan Church (2400 S Holden Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
