She was predeceased by: her parents, Booker Thomas Williams and Lillian Gaither Williams; her husband Vernon Edward Banks; her siblings, Booker N. Williams, Bishop Milton A. Williams, Sr. and Diane Williams; her foster brother Eugene Gaither; and her brother-in-law Dr. William Milton White, Sr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Williams White of Kernersville and Barry Thomas Williams (Cynthia) of Kernersville; her nephew Barry Lamont Williams (Johneka) of Clayton; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Williams, Rev. Lula Williams and Barbara Frost. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Public Viewing Hargett Funeral Service, Inc. (905 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity AME Zion Church (631 E Florida St, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
