He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Gibson and Mable Vaughn Gibson; and his siblings, Elvin, Dallas, Warren, James Gibson, Bettye Ferrell, Norma Rachel Gibson and Jerrene Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda McGehee Gibson; his son Ken Gibson (Marina); his grandchildren, Tyler Gibson, Conner Gibson, Ilya Grindstaff and Bella Grindstaff; his sister Cora Joyce (Don); and his sister-in-law Patsy Gibson.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
