He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McLean and Elizabeth Milton McLean; and his brothers, Charles, Alton and Jerry McLean.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie Louise McLean; his children, Lisa J. Carter-Hart (Frankie) of Greensboro, NC and Ivan LaMar McLean (Chantrea) of Kernersville, NC; his grandchildren, Jaylon, Franklin, Emalyn, Ariyah and Phoenix; and his sisters, Annette Neal and Glenice Troxler of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
