It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonardo Malacara of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Leonardo may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jesús Orozco of Collazo and Fidencio Collazo Martinez. He is survived by: his parents, Arturo Malacara Guerrero and Maria Guadalupe Collazo-Orozco; his brother Bryan Alexander Collazo-Orozco; and his uncle Salvador Collazo Orozco.
