He is survived by: his wife Amelia Caison; his children, Denise Herr (David Herr) and Leslie Haywood "Les" Caison, III (Eva Caison); his grandchildren, Emma Herr and John David "Jack" Herr; and his siblings, Robert E. Caison (Karen Caison) and Margaret McCormick (Eddie McCormick).
