It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loretta Mitchell Eichhorn (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Aulander, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bingham Burle and Violet Drew Mitchell; and her brother Bing Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Charles Wooding Eichhorn (Charlie); her grandchildren, Ryan Hoffman (Anne) of St Loius, Aaron Hoffman (Jessi) of Johnson City, Caitlin Brantley (Andrew) of Columbia, SC, Caroline Taney and Emma Taney of Raleigh; her sister Becky Mann of Lillington, NC; and her sister-in-law Carol Shearin (Bob) of Jamestown. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
