She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Horner and Nancy Andrews Horner of Sanford, NC.; her husband Richard Kelly Bowles; her children, Donna Bowles Schweers and Richard Kelly Bowles, Jr.; her siblings, William E. Horner, Jr. and Nancy Horner Hulin; and her pet Sassy.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Bowles Warren (Jim) of Mooresville, NC; her grandchildren, Kelly Schweers of Bradenton, FL, Erin Schweers of Chapel Hill, NC, Katy Warren Oliver (Casey) of Knoxville, TN, Colleen Warren McWilson (Matt) of Huntersville, NC and Christy Warren Bellis (Chris) of Winston-Salem, NC; and her great grandchildren, Ruby Schweers Rutig, Jackson, Cooper Oliver, Weslyn, Avery, Carter McWilson and Luke Bellis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Florence Phillips Hall (4100 Well Spring Dr, Greensboro, NC 27410).
