Mark Short Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Short (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on April 14, 2026 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Short to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Short and Radie Mae Davis Short; his wife Joan Miller Short; and his siblings, Helen Hudson (Herman), Lillie May Forrest (Herbert), Dorothy Foster (Curtis), Linda DaBiero, Ruth Ann Van Court (Elmer), Irma Love and Robert A. Short.

He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan (Laurie), Mark Lindsay (Anne), Andrew and Curtis (Sandra); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Ansley, Makenzie Wallace, Brennon Short, Mark, Max Saldaña, Ava Massey, McKenna and Keegan Short; and his sister-in-law Nancy W. Short. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rehobeth Cemetery Fund.
