She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Janadus Doane Stott and Flora Belle Dawson Stott; and her husband Charles Elmer "Chuck" Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, Mary Lynne Gilbert of Greensboro and Charles Donald Gilbert (Amal) of Simsbury, CT; her granddaughters, Alia Irshaid Gilbert of Durham, NC and Nadia Irshaid Gilbert of West Shokan, NY; and her brother Reverend Elbert Russell Stott. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
