We are sad to announce that, on April 6, 2025, at the age of 97, Mary Glendinning Elam in Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mary Glendinning leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mary Glendinning may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father James Stewart Glendinning; her husband Jack Elam; and her brother Jim Glendinning. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Anne Holden Glendinning; and her children, George Elam (Deb), John Elam (Eve) and Erin Elam. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
